The scene shows two chickadee birds on the branches of a white birch tree. The scale of the design allows the viewer to see the details of the chickadees as well as that of the birch tree trunks. With the one golden birch leaf, this flag has a hint of Autumn although it would be lovely in Spring and Summer, as well!
